The “Great Glass and Clay Pumpkin Patch” Sprouts Gourd-geous Creations
St. Petersburg, Fla. On Saturday, October 11, The Morean gets festive for fall at two locations. Visitors at the Morean Center for Clay (714 1st Ave N) get the chance to trick-or-treat through haunted ceramic galleries and discover hand-crafted pumpkins while Morean Glass Studio guests (420 22nd St S) explore blown-glass pumpkins of every shape, size, and imaginative color.
From 9am-5pm, the Morean Glass Studio showcases over 100 blown-glass pumpkins made especially for this annual event. The many gourd-geous glass creations come in every color imaginable, bringing a whole new light to the possibilities of fall décor.
From 10am – 4pm, the Morean Center for Clay transforms their galleries into family-friendly haunted rooms, complete with trick-or-treat stations and free face-painting at the finish line. Ceramic pumpkins line the space with clusters of autumn delight and beckon to be brought home to be placed on the table in time for thanksgiving.
The Morean Glass Studio is in the heart of downtown at 714 1st Avenue North.
The Morean Center for Clay is in the Warehouse Arts District at 420 22nd
Street South.
