September Is REALTOR® Safety Month: Weapon Brand & STAR Partner on REALTOR® Safety Trainings Across Tampa Bay

CE-approved sessions focus on de-escalation, early-danger ID, and practical self-defense

St. Petersburg, Fla. — August 29, 2025 — September is REALTOR® Safety Month. St. Pete–based Weapon Brand, in partnership with the Suncoast Tampa Association of REALTORS® (STAR), is delivering a slate of trainings that equip REALTORS® to recognize early danger cues, de-escalate effectively, and defend when necessary—on showings, at open houses, and on the walk to the car.

“REALTOR® work can be dangerous—agents meet strangers in empty properties, often at odd hours,” said Brian Anderson-Needham, Weapon Brand lead trainer and co-founder. “Our mission is simple: help every agent get home to their family at night. We teach clear boundaries, calm de-escalation first, and straightforward tactics you can actually execute under stress.”
