Largo, FL (May 8, 2025) – This Mother’s Day Weekend, SPCA Tampa Bay is offering a special discount of half off the price of adoptions for all animals at the shelter! This is in hopes to help find special moms (or dads!) for many of our adoptable dogs, cats, and small animals currently in our care.
Beginning on Friday, May 9 and running through Sunday, May 11, all animals can be adopted for half their normal adoption fee to help even more animals find their new families. Adoption hours on Friday are from 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
This adoption promotion was inspired by our appreciation for all mothers! We are so grateful to all our foster mamas, animal loving moms, and of course, all human mothers. If you have two-legged or four- legged children at home already, or you’re considering adopting a new pet, now may be the perfect time to expand your family.
There are currently 20 cats, 40 dogs, and 15 small animals available for adoption and awaiting a loving home. As a For-All shelter, SPCA Tampa Bay accepts all animals regardless of the circumstance or situation. There are many reasons why an animal shelter receives animals, and every single situation is unique.
