CP Communications and Red House Streaming Win 2026 Best of Florida; RHStv Earns Honorable Mention for Digital Marketing

Recognition caps a year of studio expansion, independent film production and streaming growth for the St. Petersburg-based media companies

CP Communications and subsidiary Red House Streaming have been named 2026 Best of Florida winners. CP Communications was recognized for Best Audio-Visual Services and Red House Streaming for Best Movie & Recording Studio. RHStv, the companies’ free streaming network, received an Honorable Mention for Best Digital Marketing Firm in Florida.

The awards follow a separate 2026 Best of BusinessRate win for Video Production Services, and they arrive at a point when the three companies increasingly operate as one connected business rather than three separate ones. What began with CP Communications’ four decades of live production expertise now spans studios, original programming, independent film, live sports, streaming distribution, advertising and audience engagement. The goal is no longer just to produce content. It is to help content, creators and organizations find an audience and build something durable around it.

Four Decades Behind the Production

For more than forty years, CP Communications has supplied the technology, engineering and technical crews behind some of the country’s most demanding live productions — the Super Bowl, professional and collegiate sports, and the TCS New York City Marathon among them. Its capabilities today cover live and mobile production, broadcast services, streaming, audio, RF, fiber, camera systems, remote production and IP-based workflows.

The Best of Florida recognition for Audio-Visual Services reflects the engineers, technicians and production teams who make those events happen, not just the equipment they carry.

“Recognition like this is really about our people,” said Kurt Heitmann, CEO of CP Communications. “For more than 40 years we’ve evolved alongside the industry, but the foundation hasn’t changed — good people who know the technology and can solve a hard production problem under pressure. What’s different now is watching that expertise move into Red House Streaming and RHStv, into content and distribution work we weren’t doing a few years ago.”

A Studio That Had a Busy Year

Red House Streaming extends that expertise into a flexible St. Petersburg studio built for broadcasters, businesses, brands, creators, podcasters and filmmakers. Three production spaces handle everything from interviews and vodcasts to branded content, virtual production, commercial shoots and independent film, supported by broadcast-ready environments, customizable LED displays, green screen and cyclorama capabilities, a 2,000-square-foot main stage, professional lighting, PTZ camera systems and dedicated production control.

The studio expanded again in 2026 with the addition of Mark Roberts Motion Control robotic camera technology, bringing precise, repeatable cinematic camera movement to commercial, corporate and entertainment work.

Independent film became a real part of the business this year. Through a strategic alliance with Jersey Shore Entertainment, Red House Streaming is supporting the development and production of independent film and television — including Blue Hotel, a supernatural mystery being developed for film and television with Red House serving as studio co-production partner, and The Last Confession, an upcoming psychological thriller with production planned in Rio de Janeiro and St. Petersburg. The studio also housed production for the independent horror-comedy Chicken Head, written and directed by Corin Nemec, including interior filming featuring actress Tara Reid.

Red House Streaming and RHStv are actively looking to connect with more independent filmmakers, documentary producers and emerging storytellers who need both a place to produce and a path to distribution.

Why a Streaming Network Won for Digital Marketing

The Honorable Mention is the recognition that surprises people, so it is worth explaining.

RHStv does not sell impressions and walk away. When a business partners with the network, the streaming placement is one piece of a campaign that also runs across social media, email, branded content, sponsored programming, landing pages and on-air integration — all of it built, produced and managed in-house by the same team that produces the programming. That is a digital marketing operation. It just happens to own its own distribution.

The difference shows up in what a campaign can do. QR-enabled experiences, trackable links, lead generation and commerce integrations let a partner see viewers move from watching to acting: scanning a code during a program, buying a product, attending an event, following a creator or contacting the business directly. Connected TV becomes the start of an audience journey rather than the end of a media buy — and, unusually for CTV, one that can be measured against real-world behavior.

That approach is working against a growing audience. RHStv averaged 312,500 weekly views across 2026 with a 79 percent engagement rate on connected TV, and the network has ranked among the top 15 Lifestyle apps on Roku. Individual properties carry serious reach on their own: a single Division I sports event drew 1.5 million views this year, and rowing coverage from Nathan Benderson Park accounted for roughly half a million views across the season.

From Streaming Platform to Media Network

Available free across connected TV, mobile and web, RHStv is expanding past the traditional idea of an OTT channel. The 2026 lineup includes VooDoo Chef Underground, Good Life Tampa Bay, In the Bed with Babs, Tampa Bay Strong, Jess A Story, Unscripted Success, Headlines & High Heels, Oh Yeah?!, Chef Brian’s Kitchen, Healthy Meals in Minutes and The Nonprofit Collective, alongside live events, sports, independent productions and partner programming. Live and premium content — including pay-per-view experiences — are becoming a larger part of the platform.

For creators and producers, the network offers a path to viewers that runs around traditional gatekeepers. For businesses, it offers something else entirely: the chance to become part of the content rather than an interruption sitting next to it.

“We’re building RHStv to be more than another place to watch something,” said Larissa Stanley, VP of Marketing & Red House Streaming Operations. “A creator or a business can bring us an idea, a story or an audience, and we can build around it — produce it, distribute it, find sponsors, sell something, put on a live event. The opportunity is in connecting those pieces instead of running them as separate businesses.”

Partnerships drive the next stage. RHStv is expanding relationships with creators, filmmakers, production companies, sports organizations, local businesses, tourism and hospitality brands, nonprofits and advertisers. Some partners bring finished programming, others develop something new inside the studios, and some bring audiences and ideas that grow across television, social and digital at once. The network is also exploring short-form and vertical formats alongside traditional episodic programming.

One Ecosystem, From Production to Audience

The three companies now function as connected parts of the same infrastructure. CP Communications provides the technical foundation and live production expertise. Red House Streaming provides the physical and creative production environment. RHStv provides distribution, programming, audience development and monetization.

A project can start as an idea, move into production, become programming, reach viewers across streaming platforms and expand into social, sponsorship, commerce and live events — all under one roof. That is the larger story behind this year’s recognition. The awards reflect what has been built. The next phase is about who it gets built with.

Creators with a concept. Filmmakers looking for distribution. Businesses looking for something beyond traditional advertising. Sports organizations seeking a streaming home. RHStv is looking for all of them.

Watch. Create. Partner.

Viewers can watch RHStv free across supported connected TV, mobile and web platforms. Creators, filmmakers, producers, businesses and prospective advertising or programming partners are invited to connect with the team.
