Pinellas County Schools Mentor Workshop
Thursday, April 25, 2024 (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM) (EDT)
Description
Help our Future of Work Task Force meet their goal of 2024 - to have TEN Chamber Members signed up to be mentors with Pinellas County Schools every quarter.
Mentoring in schools allows businesses to identify and nurture potential talent early on. By investing in the education of local students, businesses contribute to the long-term development and prosperity of the community. A well-educated workforce can attract more businesses and contribute to economic growth.
Here's your chance! A Mentor Workshop is the first step to become a Pinellas County Schools mentor. Prior to the workshop, we would ask that you please complete the Volunteer Application www.pcsb.org/volunteerregistration. (Already completed one? - no need to do it again) The workshop will provide guidance as well as the next steps including when the program starts and how a student will be assigned. On the day before and the day of the workshop you will be sent a link with instructions to participate.
