Come to the Florida Studies Book Festival at USF St. Petersburg for lectures from published faculty and award-winning Florida historians and experts from around the state.
Florida can be a complex and complicated state. Many residents and visitors alike want to know more about the state's history, environment, politics and culture. The Florida Studies Book Festival will provide an opportunity for the public to encounter writers and books that address the Florida experience, and to highlight the USF Florida Studies program.
The program will be moderated by Florida Studies Program Director Chris Meindl. There will also be book sales and signings, as well as conversations with authors.
Featured writers include Sen. Bill Nelson, Gilbert King, Evan P. Bennett, J. Michael Francis, Gary Mormino, Dalia Colón, and more.
