Description

Embark on a journey of natural wonder in this unique collaboration between the MFA and Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center. This immersive adventure fosters a deep appreciation for nature’s beauty and encourages a lasting commitment to its preservation for generations to come. Begin the afternoon with a docent-guided tour at the museum highlighting the role of nature in artworks. Featuring the newest special exhibition New African Masquerades: Artistic Innovation and Collaboration, discover how artists have drawn inspiration from the natural world and the many ways they interpret its beauty, power, and significance. Want extra time to explore the exhibition? Arrive early and enjoy the museum at your own pace (included in your ticket). Continue your experience at the St. Pete Pier, where you’ll board a sunset cruise with Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center’s expert marine scientists.
