Advocacy in Action: Sustainability & Resilience
Wednesday, January 21, 2026 (3:30 PM - 5:00 PM) (EST)
Description
Advocacy in Action is a monthly event series that brings Chamber members together to learn about key policy issues and hear directly from local decision-makers. Join us to engage in meaningful conversation and participate in purpose driven action that shapes St. Petersburg’s future.
The event topics are cycled through on a quarterly basis and are held from 3:30-5:00 pm at the St. Pete Chamber. These events are FREE for current Chamber members, and $10 for not-yet Chamber members.
This month's focus is on Sustainability & Resilience. We are excited to welcome City of St. Petersburg Public Works Administrator, Claude Tankersley, to discuss details about the city's stormwater infrastructure. Join this insightful conversation to explore how stormwater infrastructure and local supply chains intersect to strengthen citywide resilience. An open forum following the stormwater discussion will allow members of the business community to determine actionable ways to contribute to sustainability & resilience issues.
